Comparison

GloriaFood alternatives, compared honestly

You need to replace a free product that worked. Here is what the options actually cost, including ours, and which one fits which kind of restaurant.

Start from what you had

GloriaFood gave you online ordering with no monthly fee and no commission. Any comparison that skips that is wasting your time. You are not upgrading. You are replacing something that was free, on a deadline you did not choose.

So the real question is not "which is best" — it is which trade are you willing to make.

Toast online orderingfrom $69/moBundled with their POS — not a like-for-like swap unless you are changing POS too.

Anseur$0 for website + ordering, no per-order cut. AI phone answering from $99/mo.We give away the part everyone else charges for, and charge for the part nobody else does.

Prices are the vendors' own published list prices. Setup fees and payment processing sit on top of all of them, including ours.

Which one actually fits

If you just need the order button back and nothing else — take a free or cheap one. Genuinely. If online ordering is a small share of your volume, do not buy a platform.

If you want the website handled too — that is the $139–$179/mo shelf, or ours at zero. Compare what is bundled rather than the headline number; ordering being an add-on is the most common surprise on that shelf.

If you are about to put everything on DoorDash — do the arithmetic first. At published rates, $20,000/month of marketplace orders is $3,000–$6,000/month in commission. That is not a line item, that is a salary. It can still be the right call for discovery, but it should be a decision rather than a default.

If your phone is the problem — that is the one thing no option above addresses, including GloriaFood, and it is why we built what we built.

The uncomfortable question to ask every vendor

Ask how they make money from you. GloriaFood's answer was "we don't, really," which is lovely right up until it is the reason the product is being switched off. A vendor with an obvious business model is a vendor that can still be there in 2029.

Ours: the website and ordering are free because they are commodity, and we sell the phone line. That is the whole model, and you can see the price before you talk to anyone.

Questions

What is the cheapest GloriaFood replacement?

A free order button from another vendor, or Anseur's free website and ordering. The thing to check is how the vendor makes money, since that is what determines whether they are still around in a few years.

Do any alternatives include the customer list I had?

None of them can import it for you. Export it from GloriaFood yourself before the shutdown date; every replacement can take a list, but nobody can retrieve one from a platform that has closed.

Is Anseur really free for ordering?

The website and online ordering are free with no per-order commission. The paid product is the AI that answers your phone, which starts at $99/month for up to 200 calls.

See it answer a call

Call the demo line and try to trip it up. It takes an order, prices it, and sends it to a kitchen screen — no signup, no sales call first.
